Position Summary

ITT Enidine is seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of managing R&D and Production projects and possess the ability to support efforts impacting internal and external customers. As an integral member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the execution, planning, and pursuit of multiple engineering projects. This role requires Project Engineering expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop and manage project execution, including proposal support, requirements analysis, system design, integration and testing, and verification/validation activities.
  • Lead and support Project Engineering initiatives, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Effectively manage external customers, representing ITT in accordance with business objectives.
  • Update and maintain project schedules, developing mitigation plans when required and ensuring projects are compliant to schedule and technical requirements.
  • Drive New Product Introduction efforts, including design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) considerations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve execution roadblocks when required.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, project schedule, design specifications, design review artifacts, test plans and procedures, and user manuals.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to ITT Enidine technologies.

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in and Engineering discipline or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience operating in an Aerospace and Defense or similar environment.
  • Proven experience in Project Engineering.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and requirements management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Engineering principles, including requirements management and verification, customer management, product design and development phases, integration and testing activities, verification/validation, and risk mitigation.
  • Familiarity with New Product Introduction processes, including Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and production environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Demonstrated high degree of Emotional Intelligence
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards such as ASTM, ISO, and SAE is a plus.

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Equal Pay Act Range

Annual Salary Range is $54,800.00 to $82,200.00, plus benefits and incentive plans.
