Position Summary

The PDM Configuration Management Analyst is responsible for maintaining and updating standard Configuration Management procedures in accordance with EIA-649 and AS9100, as well as training for current and new users. The position will support the Engineering group with creation and maintenance of Engineering Technical Documents to military and commercial aerospace requirements, and Technical Publications in accordance with ATA iSpec 2200.    Develop world class document control organization including training, recruitment, succession planning and overall development of human resources and equipment resources.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)/Configuration review for new and revised documents/drawings for release in the PLM system.
  • Work with other team members to produce finished documents and data deliverables.
  • Perform configuration audits of data records in PDM (PTC Windchill) and ERP systems.
  • Prepare configuration audit reports per customer and FAA requirements.
  • Provide support for Technical Publication processes and documentation for aircraft engineering and maintenance information, including Component Maintenance Manuals, T-Files, Temporary Revisions, Service Bulletins, etc.
  • Ensure correct implementation of PLM processes, including change management and control, and establish best practices.
  • Manage availability of internal and external specifications and industry standards.

Position Requirements

  • Associate's degree is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of PDM administration experience is required; 5+ years of related experience is preferred.
  • PTC Windchill experience is preferred; PDM system experience is required
  • PDM implementation and management experience is required
  • Transformational leader with experience identifying needs and requirements to inform the architecture of a new PDM system
  • Technical writing experience with documents and data in aerospace or defense industry is required.
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and design specifications/documentation is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Access, Excel and Power Point)
  • CAD system administration experience is required
  • ERP experience is required
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • CM-P certification is desired

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Equal Pay Act Range

Annual salary range is $90,100 - $134,700, plus benefits and incentive plans
