Position: 2025 Summer Intern – Test Engineering
Location: Orchard Park, NY
Major(s): Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
Class year desired: Senior / Grad
Academic Schedule: May - August 2025, full-time, 40 hours per week
Support and lead projects related to the testing of energy absorption products and designing/maintaining test equipment used in development of production testing. Supports the development of tools or training to aid engineering groups deployment of automated solutions, additive manufacturing, and process improvements. Assists in product design with compliance to engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Coordinates all activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, costing, and resolving engineering design and test problems where appropriate. Supports customer visits, data reviews, and providing technical information. Supports integration of technical activities and products. Works with supervision from engineers or engineering management. Establishes test criteria and test analysis of prototype and qualification components. |
