Responsible for the execution of hydraulic deliverables for new product development and live order development of horizontal and vertical pumps. Engineers new pump performance curves and specifies required modifications. Designs 3D CAD models of hydraulic passageways (including but not limited to impellers, discharge volutes, diffusers, suctions). Simulates fluid dynamic performance of new designs using CFD. Supports global test engineering group through test validation. Supplies other departments with hydraulic passageways for new product or custom order developments, as well as providing related technical support. Works under general direction of Senior Hydraulic Engineers.
