  • Motion Technologies: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~ 4,000; operates in 13 countries) manufactures brake components and specialized sealing solutions, shock absorbers and damping technologies primarily for the global automotive, truck and trailer, public bus and rail transportation markets. 
  • Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts. 
  • Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.

 

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead our distribution strategy to deliver profitable revenue growth in the assigned geographic territory. This position will drive our distribution strategy while engaging with key partners and customers to grow our business. Success will require collaboration with sales, product management, marketing and pricing teams. 

 

This position will be based in California or Massachusetts and will require travel within the assigned geography. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Build influential relationships with distributor across all functions to support growth plans. 
  • Strategic account management for distributor partners including training, funnel reviews, demand creation, forecasts management and plan performance. 
  • Manages the achievement of assigned budgets (POS and new business) 
  • Develops and drives growth strategies for new and existing product portfolio 
  • Monitors competitive market intelligence, trends and makes adjustments as required 
  • Partners with Regional Sales Managers and Corporate Distribution Sales Managers to develop and implement strategic campaigns  
  • Manages cross functional activities as required between Product Management, Engineering, Customer Service, and Operations to support growth initiatives 

Position Requirements

  • Ability to travel as required to support distributors, 25 - 50% estimated 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline  
  • Electronic components manufacturer or distribution experience  
  • Servant leader with strong team cooperation and support 
  • Interconnect product knowledge 
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to develop and drive strategic plan  
  • Ability to lead and problem solve in unstructured environments 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 

 

Location:  Flexible, preferred location is in Orange County, California or Boston, Massachusetts

Specific benefits are dependent upon whether or not the position is part of a collective-bargaining agreement. The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Equal Pay Act Range

Annual Salary Range is from $104,200.00 to $155,600.00, plus benefits & incentive plan.
