• Motion Technologies: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~ 4,000; operates in 13 countries) manufactures brake components and specialized sealing solutions, shock absorbers and damping technologies primarily for the global automotive, truck and trailer, public bus and rail transportation markets. 
• Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts. 
• Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.

 

Obtains materials from suppliers at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.  Analyzes quotations received, selects or recommends suppliers and schedules deliveries.  Checks and approves for payment invoices for orders placed.  Manage and maintain ESH program including processes and training to ensure compliance.  Help manage and maintain ISO program requirements. 

• Purchase all WIP, safety, shop & office consumables.
• Manage and maintain ESH program/processes to ensure compliance and manage audits
  Obtain pricing for quotation requirements.
• Expedite all purchase orders to ensure due dates are met.
• Negotiate pricing to continue to gain the most cost-effective price
• Check and approve/maintain invoices for payment in SAP for orders placed.
• Develop & maintain the calibration schedule.
• Review & process all non-conformances of purchased material and ESH findings
• Coordinate, maintain & provide training for ESH procedures.
• Provide administrative support.

Education: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of purchasing experience OR equivalent education and experience.

 

Experience:

• Related purchasing experience is required.
• Repair Shop experience is preferred

 

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• ERP experience is required; SAP is preferred
• Negotiation skills
• PC Proficiency
• Office process experience.
• Product knowledge
• ESH experience a plus

Specific benefits are dependent upon whether or not the position is part of a collective-bargaining agreement. The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Annual salary range is $51,700.00 - $76,700.00, plus benefits and incentive plans.
