  • Motion Technologies: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~ 4,000; operates in 13 countries) manufactures brake components and specialized sealing solutions, shock absorbers and damping technologies primarily for the global automotive, truck and trailer, public bus and rail transportation markets. 
  • Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts. 
  • Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.

 

Position Summary

The Global Talent Acquisition team is hiring a Intern who will work closely on recruiting strategies to source, attract, and hire talent into our high-performing culture. You will be accountable for human resource tasks that will support the current team. In addition, you will be expected to collaborate with all team members to focus on overall business and service objectives, working on crucial HR projects. The role can be Remote or Hybrid, depending on applicants’ current location. The job will require minimal travel to our company manufacturing sites. The role will report to a Talent Acquisition Manager.

Essential Responsibilities

• Work directly as part of the corporate Global Talent Acquisition team to drive towards recruiting operational excellence, focusing on tools, technology, and process upgrades
• Build and manage relationships with current Talent Acquisition Specialists
• Support in designing strategic talent channels to build high-impact pipelines of talent relevant to various needs of a global scale manufacturing company including but not limited to accounting/finance, marketing, operations, various engineering disciplines, skilled trades, IT, HR, quality, administrative, sales etc.
• Consistently create an incredible candidate experience to drive positive employment brand awareness
• A key user of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), s/he will monitor performance of our candidate experience, understanding and replicating best practices, improve where performance lags
• Support in determining best approaches to discover top talent through direct search, professional networking, referrals, social media, job boards, colleges, and recruitment partnerships to deliver top-notch candidates in an efficient and effective manner
• Track and report metrics to evaluate overall effectiveness of recruiting process, tools and systems
• Support optimization initiatives of recruiting process/tools/systems

Position Requirements

• Junior or Senior year working towards completion of Bachelor’s degree
• Desire to work as part of a high performing team, focused on results
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and complete assignments
• Ability to effectively follow-through on defined tasks with efficiency
• Proactive and strong sense of urgency within the processes they are working on
• Solution oriented with a focus on follow-through, follow-up, and completion of tasks
• Strong collaboration and influential capabilities to foster change in our practices
• Critical thinking skills to drive core strategic capabilities

Specific benefits are dependent upon whether or not the position is part of a collective-bargaining agreement. The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Equal Pay Act Range

$17.55 to $26.01 hourly
