ITT is seeking a Field Service Engineer for VIDAR, a breakthrough in industrial motors. VIDAR is a patented motor with embedded variable speed intelligence built for harsh industrial environments. For decades, variable speed drives have been bulky, expensive, and hard to install, which stalled adoption at just 15 percent of rotating equipment. VIDAR changes that. It installs as easily as replacing a motor, cuts total installed cost by up to 50 percent compared to a VFD, and opens a $6B market with no direct competitor targeting industrial environments.
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical installation and commissioning support to clients and service teams nationally with regards to smart motor equipment and application support, which requires up to 75% of time of outside and onsite work.
