We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team for the summer of 2026. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operational accounting and finance within a world-renowned, publicly traded aerospace manufacturing company. Under mentorship the intern will gain exposure to both general and manufacturing-specific financial practices, contributing to meaningful projects and learning industry standards.
• Assist the Accounting/Finance team with daily operational activities
• Review and update current standard operating procedures
• Gain an understanding of ITT’s SOX policies and procedures
• Maintain and file documents in accordance with ITT’s retention policy
• Support resolution of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) items
• Participate in inventory audits and cost analysis
• Currently enrolled in an Accounting or Finance undergraduate program (BS), in good academic standing (GPA of 3.0 or higher) as a Junior or Senior
• Knowledge and understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting regulations
• Solid grasp of accrual accounting principles
• Familiarity with accounting information systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
