  • Motion Technologies: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~ 4,000; operates in 13 countries) manufactures brake components and specialized sealing solutions, shock absorbers and damping technologies primarily for the global automotive, truck and trailer, public bus and rail transportation markets. 
  • Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts. 
  • Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.

 

Position Summary

The Pricing Intern will support the Strategic Pricing team by contributing to pricing analytics, process governance, and competitive pricing strategies. This internship offers hands-on experience in pricing methodologies, business analysis, and strategic decision-making. Interns will gain a working knowledge of pricing strategies and tactics, learn portfolio segmentation methodologies, and develop an understanding of customer value and market dynamics. The role is designed to build foundational skills for a potential transition into a full-time Pricing Analyst position within 12–18 months.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to the pricing team.
  • Assist in governance of pricing policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Audit distributor sales against SPA (Special Pricing Agreement) terms and commitments.
  • Support development of competitive pricing alignment strategies.
  • Analyze low-margin business and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability.
  • Utilize Point of Sales and win/loss data to update pricing guidelines and support strategic decisions.
  • Participate in implementation of quotation process improvements.

Position Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the preferred majors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Interest in pricing strategy, market analysis, and business operations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
