Position Summary

Establishes, and Manages as an integral part of Site management, the financial controls and reporting of the Orchard Park Manufacturing business. To the extent required, this plan should provide profit planning, and sales forecasts, expense budgets and cost standard and the necessary procedures for affecting the plan. Directs financial activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Reporting and interpreting to compare performance with operating plans and standards and to report and interpret the results of operations to all levels of management.
  • This includes the formulation of accounting policy, the coordination of systems and procedures and the preparation of operating data as required.
  • Evaluating and interpreting- to consult with all segments of management responsible for policy or action concerning any phase of the business that relates to attainment of objectives, effectiveness of policies, organization structure and procedure.
  • Protection of Assets- to assure protection for the assets of the business through internal controls, internal auditing, and proper insurance coverage.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to employees while cultivating a high-performance culture of motivated employees, environment of trust, customer service, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership.
  • Conduct the Performance Management Process with direct reports for effectiveness, timeliness, and expected outcomes in focusing, aligning, and engaging employees in the pursuit of the overall business strategies and goals.
  • Support the acquisition and management of talent by:
    • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees;
    • Planning, assigning, and directing work;
    • Appraising performance; and
    • Addressing employee complaints and resolving issues.

Promote adherence to the company's Code of Conduct and Policies (including safety protocols).

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B.S) in Accounting or Business or equivalent; and five years related manufacturing and management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. An M.B.A or C.P.A. is helpful. Experience in financial analysis, long range planning, cost and budget control and forecasting. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

A M.B.A. OR C.P.A.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Familiarity with financial terminology, IRS Code. PC skills and the ability to use spreadsheet software

Specific benefits are dependent upon whether or not the position is part of a collective-bargaining agreement. The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Equal Pay Act Range

Annual salary range is from .118,800 to 177,400, plus benefits & incentive plan.
