This position will require operation and programing of a variety of CNC machines, including Mazak HMC, CNC lathes, and CNC milling machines. The ideal candidate will apply appropriate machining processes to manufacture parts specified by work orders and blueprints. This position requires the candidate to be disciplined in following all procedures as outlined by the Quality System, the customer & ESH procedures.
Major Responsibilities:
-Effectively operate machines in the facility
- Programming machines
-Understand complicated drawings and specifications, shop arithmetic and use of scales, Calibers, precision principles and methods
-Must be disciplined in following all procedures as outlined by the shop order, customer or supervisor
-Applies mastery of skills.
Education: High School Diploma,
Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of machining experience is required
Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Capable of meeting all certification requirements as per customer specifications.
- Read complex drawings/diagrams.
- Capable of following all machine shop procedures.
- Use scales, calipers and other measuring instruments.
- Follow instructions
