The Project Pursuit Lead (PPL) is responsible for driving order growth by qualifying, developing, and securing capital project business. This position plays a critical role in building strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and internal teams to successfully position the organization for project wins.
The PPL manages the project pipeline, identifies and develops opportunities and ensures successful project execution through coordination of internal and external resources. The ideal candidate is highly organized, strategic, results-oriented, and capable of leading cross-functional teams to deliver tailored customer solutions and achieve business objectives.

TRAVEL
The employee is required to spend much of the time travelling in the territory by air and car for customer sales calls and support of distribution in strategic sales calls and/or technical seminars at end users, A/E firms and OEMs. Travel requirement a minimum of 50%.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in Engineering, and a minimum of five years of relevant experience in complex sales within industries such as life sciences, chemical, oil and gas, semiconductor, or other major industrial markets.
Experience with capital project environments and familiarity with stakeholders such as EPCs, OEMs, system integrators, and plant or corporate engineering teams is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering specifications, P&IDs and technical documents., . . Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. The person needs to be fluent in English (verbally and in writing).
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
COMPUTING SKILLS
Ability to effectively utilize , word processing software, spreadsheets, and other business applications in a Microsoft Windows environment.
