The Regional Trade Compliance Coordinator will support the ITT Flow Technologies sites located in Seneca Falls, NY, and Lancaster, PA to satisfy trade compliance requirements. This position is responsible for trade compliance processes, procedures, and performing daily activities to ensure the assigned sites effectively comply with all ITT Corporate and Flow Technologies trade compliance policies. Also responsible to ensure compliance with US Export Regulations as outlined by the US Department of Commerce (EAR), the Office of Foreign Asset Controls, and any other special trade programs/exporting regulatory requirements required for ITT international business. In addition, the role is responsible for providing guidance to the assigned sites' leadership team and site employees on matters relating to trade compliance and ensuring trade compliance work practices are consistently utilized throughout the assigned sites.
Education: An undergraduate degree in International Business, Contract Management, Business Law (or minimum 5 years of experience) is desired.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade compliance-related activities, including export due diligence, screening, licensing, and classification.
Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of U.S. trade compliance regulations, including Export Administration Regulations, US Census, and Office of Foreign Assets Control regulations. The ability to apply technical knowledge of regulations to complex business transactions is required.
Due to U.S. Government regulations governing certain Flow Technologies’ product US person status is required due to the nature of the role, accessing controlled technology, and assessing its classification.
