• The Regional Sales Manager RPG, North America (USA) is responsible for maintaining and expanding the installed base of ITT Rheinhütte Pumpen products across North America, recovering lost accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving profitable revenue growth.

  The role focuses on corrosion-resistant pumping solutions for highly aggressive applications within the Phosphate fertilizer, copper & Nickel mining, Pickling steel plants, and chemical industries.

• The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with end users, distributors, EPC contractors (such as Worley/Chemetics, AtkinsRéalis, Hatch,etc..) and consultants while positioning Rheinhütte Pumpen as the preferred supplier for Molten Sulfur, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid/FSA, and other critical process applications.

Key Responsibilities

Install Base Growth & Account Management

• Manage and protect the existing installed base of Rheinhütte Pumpen equipment throughout the region.
• Drive and develop account plans for key strategic end users in fertilizer, mining, steel, and chemical industries.
• Identify replacement opportunities and upgrade projects within existing customer facilities.
• Increase aftermarket revenue through spare parts, pump replacements and upgrades

Lost Account Recovery

• Analyze historical customer losses and develop recovery strategies.
• Re-engage dormant customers through technical consultations, site visits, and performance improvement programs.
• Conduct competitive displacement campaigns targeting installed competitor equipment.
• Build customer confidence through application expertise, reliability improvements, and total lifecycle cost analysis.

New Business Development

• Identify and develop new opportunities within:
• Sulfuric acid plants
• Fertilizer production facilities
• Cooper, Nickel, Rare earth Mining and mineral processing operations
• Steel pickling and acid regeneration plants
• Chemical processing facilities
• Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve annual revenue targets.
• Develop strategic capture plans for major capital projects and brownfield expansions.

EPC & Project Business Development

• Establish relationships with key EPC companies and engineering firms.
• Ensure Rheinhütte Pumpen specifications are included in project designs and bid packages.
• Track upcoming projects throughout the feasibility, FEED, engineering, procurement, and execution phases.
• Coordinate project pursuit activities with application engineering and Engineering

Distributor Management

• Recruit, develop, and manage distributors within assigned territories.
• Establish performance objectives and growth plans for channel partners.
• Conduct regular sales reviews, technical training, and joint customer visits.
• Expand market coverage while ensuring consistent brand representation.

Technical Sales Leadership

• Provide expertise on Rheinhütte Pumpen products and applications, including:
• Sulfuric acid pumps
• Phosphoric acid pumps
• Corrosive chemical handling systems
• Plastic-lined and fluoropolymer pumps
• Metallic and ceramic pump technologies
• Recommend optimal pumping solutions based on process requirements and total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5-10 years of industrial sales experience.
• Proven experience in pumps, rotating equipment, or process industries.
• Strong understanding of sulfuric acid and corrosive chemical applications.
• Experience managing distributors and direct end-user accounts.
• Established network within fertilizer, mining, chemical, or steel industries preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout North America (50-70%).
